Blood, Sweat, and Tears? ProWash Has You Covered.

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

No, I’m not talking about the band.  I’m talking summer smelly stained clothes, people.  Summer is a very active time of year as we all know, which means dirty clothes and did I mention smelly?  My husband is not on one but two summer baseball teams and we’re both on a kickball league as will.  Yes, I said kickball! So, at three games a week we need a detergent that can keep up.  ProWash Activewear Detergent does the trick!

If you’re wearing Nike Dry-Fit, Under Armour or other wicking fabrics you know how tough odors are to get out.  ProWash is designed to thoroughly clean your activewear.   This is an amazing thing because odors don’t “come back” when working out.  Plus, it works well on dirt and blood stains.  So, there’s no reason for tears!  Check out the ProWash site to see where to buy it!

WIN vs. ProWash: The big difference

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

When it comes to laundry detergents, it’s impossible to determine which is  ”the best.” People prefer particular brands for whatever reasons — the scent, the ability to get out the tough stains, etc. — but the majority of detergents are 99.9% identical (mind you, this is my opinion). So how could one differentiate between WIN sportswear detergent and ProWash? You gotta look at the other .1%.

Both WIN and ProWash are delicate on sportswear fabrics and do a great job of getting out odors that are caused by bacteria, but only one actually restores the wicking ability of these fabrics – ProWash.

3 Golden Rules to maintaining a good relationship with your gym clothes

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

Like any past romance, your relationship with your gym clothes starts off wonderful. They fit right, they look good, they don’t smell (I’m doing a poor job relating the two, aren’t I? Bear with me). Over time, things change — it’s only natural. But by following these 3 simple Golden Rules, you can keep the spark alive and the smell away.

1. Show them that you love them. Wash your gym clothes when you get home from the gym instead of adding them to the laundry pile. The longer they sit, the more likely they are to hold on to the stink — even after they’re washed.

2. Be kind. Avoid harsh detergents and fabric softeners. They spoil the very qualities that make our gym clothes our gym clothes — the moisture resistance. Instead, try using a gentle detergent or something specifically formulated for synthetics, like ProWash activewear detergent.

3. Give each other space. Don’t wear your gym clothes multiple times before washing. Once again, this contributes to the perma-stink that gym clothes often get, plus all that dry sweat and bacteria (the stuff causing the smell) puts you at risk of getting a rash. Clingy clothing + bacteria. Think about it.
